The brainchild of Simon Moxon, CEO and founder, Meetupcall, is the product of his 10+ years experience in senior Information Technology Management positions. His merits include the design and management of Europe’s largest over-the-phone language interpreting service.
Responsible for designing, delivering and supporting highly available enterprise technology solutions and services, Simon was routinely involved in the procurement of conference call services and is no stranger to large scale telephony solutions.
Frustrated by the choice between expensive services from the major telecoms companies and low quality ‘budget’ providers, Simon spotted a gap in the market for a high quality, simple to use but low cost conference call service.
Despite having worked in some of the world’s largest cities, Simon is proud to have set up the Meetupcall headquarters in his home town of Doncaster. A believer in supporting the local economy and local businesses, Simon is a member of the Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and supports the ‘Buy Doncaster’ campaign.
As well as supporting local business, Simon is also keen to support and promote responsible business and is heavily involved in promoting Green business throughout the Doncaster and Yorkshire area.
