Joining a Conference

As a Leader

The conference will not begin until the leader has joined. The leader is the conference organiser and generally the person who arranges the conference and sends out the invitations.

To join the conference as the leader:

1. Dial the Meetupcall dial in number that you have chosen to use (0203, 0844, 0800)
2. When prompted, enter your Conference ID followed by the # key. (Note: this is not your leader code)
3. Press '1' on your telephone keypad to identify yourself as the leader
4. When prompted enter your Leader PIN followed by the # key
5. Say your name after the prompt and press the # key
6. You will now be placed in the conference

As a Regular Attendee

As a regular attendee you can join the conference call at any time, but you will hear hold music until the leader joins and activates the conference.

To join the conference:

1. Dial the Meetupcall dial in number as specified in your teleconferencing invitation
2. When prompted enter your Conference ID followed by the # key.
3. Say your name after the prompt and press the # key
4. You will now be placed in the conference
