No more Greensleeves

If you are only an occasional conference caller, then it may seem strange that while conducting market research prior to the launch of our audio conferencing services, that we discovered one of the biggest complaints users of other conference call services had was about the hold music.

It seems many of our long-established competitors have been using the same one track (or 7” vinyl) as the hold music for their services for many years.  Initially, this may seem like a minor issue and something a little petty to be complaining about, but if you work in sales and are conducting three or four conference calls a day (with clients that are consistently late to join the call) it is easy to see how this could become a major irritation.

With this in-mind we have added the ability for our Enterprise Conferencing customers and users of our Pay As You Go conference call service the ability to change the hold music while they are waiting for their conference participants to join.

During the hold music you may press *5 to cycle through 10 different tracks including one of complete silence.  I’m not claiming you would want to download any of these tracks to your I-pod, but it should at least relieve you from the monotony, at least until the conference call starts, but I am afraid we can’t help you with that!
